Tesla is offering the Full-Self Driving feature as an option with the Model Y for Rs 6 lakh. While the Autopilot system packs advanced features, the full self-driving capability is not yet available in India. Tesla plans to enable these features through future updates and after achieving regulatory approval. For now, the FSD demands active driver supervision.

For the Model Y EV, customers have the option to choose from a pool of six appealing colour options. However, except for the Stealth Grey colour, which is a standard option, all other hues command a premium. For instance, Pearl White Multi-Coat and Diamond Black both cost an additional Rs 95,000. Meanwhile, Glacier Blue charges 1.25 lakh extra. The Quicksilver and Ultra Red, on the other hand, come with a hefty premium of Rs 1.85 lakh each.

Deliveries for the more powerful Long Range RWD version are slated to commence in the fourth quarter of this year, whereas the Standard RWD variant is set to arrive slightly earlier in Q3 2025.
