Honda brings out a commemorative 'Ace Edition' of the Amaze to celebrate the one-lakh sales milestone of the 2nd-gen model.

The 2nd-gen Honda Amaze has just breached the 1-lakh sales mark. Launched in India in May 2018, the Amaze has achieved this feat in a record 13 months, making it the fastest model to reach the magic figure in Honda Car India Limited's (HCIL) history. In order to mark the momentous occasion, HCIL has come out with the Amaze Ace Edition, which is based on the top-spec VX trim. Like the regular VX trim, the Ace Edition will also be available in four combinations: Petrol MT, Petrol CVT, Diesel MT & Diesel CVT. Prices for the Amaze Ace Edition start from ₹ 7.89 lakh (Petrol MT) and go up all the way to ₹ 9.72 lakh (Diesel CVT). All prices are Ex-showroom.

Available exclusively in just three colour options (Radiant Red, Lunar Silver & White Orchid Pearl), the Ace Edition features a fair bit of cosmetic upgrades which give the rather plain jane car some sporty credentials. Most of the additions feature a black theme. The upgrades include black-painted alloy wheels & trunk spoiler, door edge garnish, blacked-out sun visors, seat covers with 'Ace Edition' engravings, blue-coloured room lamps on the footwell and Ace Edition emblems on the exterior.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Mr Rajesh Goel, Senior VP & Director (Marketing & Sales) at HCIL said, 'The all-new 2nd-Generation Honda Amaze has been a game changer for HCIL, achieving exceptional success with over 1 lakh sales in record 13 months, translating into 20% higher sales as compared to the 1st-Gen Amaze that was launched in 2013...we would like to thank our customers for the confidence & continuous support that has enabled the brand to grow so strongly.'

Reiterating the car's success, Honda claims that the 2nd-gen Amaze has contributed to nearly 52 per cent of the HCIL's total sales in the ongoing FY19-20. Listed below are the ex-showroom prices of all the Honda Amaze Ace Edition variants:
