Hyundai is gaining significant attention in the field of electric competitive racing by introducing its newest creativity, the Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup car. The Ioniq 5 N has taken a giant leap forward, becoming ready to tackle highly competitive racing circuits with all the sportiness that has made it renowned as the performance version of the Ioniq 5 electric SUV. The eN1 Cup vehicle had an in-depth makeover. The eN1 Cup vehicle, derived from the production-spec Ioniq 5 N, preserves the advanced electronics (PE) system. This formidable machine is poised to participate in the N1 class and will shortly make its first appearance in the upcoming eN1 series, scheduled to commence later this year. The eN1 series operates under transparent rules and will ensure exciting competition while pushing the limits of electric racing technology.

Improving performance at every level is the goal of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup car's new body kit. The car is equipped with low and wide-style over-fenders, as well as enlarged wheel trajectories. The addition of front and rear lips, together with prominent rear wings, serves to enhance downforce and maximise aerodynamic efficiency to an unprecedented level.
Hyundai has carefully removed unnecessary components and added forged wheels, an FRP bonnet, and polycarbonate windows to save weight and improve agility. These modifications also enhance the car's sleek appearance in our view. The usual stock Ioniq 5 seats have been replaced with a single bucket seat for the driver. This Ioniq 5N comes with a roll cage and fire extinguishers that adhere to FIA regulations, ensuring drivers feel secure in the middle of the fierce race.
In addition, the Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup car is equipped with a range of crucial safety measures, such as racing bucket seats, seat belts, and a strategically located charging station.
Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup car: Powertrain
The eN1 Cup car's 641 bhp is a direct reflection of the power output of the road-going model, thanks to its twin electric motor. This race car can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in only 18 minutes thanks to the normal car's battery, which has a strong 84kWh of useable energy.
Additional upgrades take the eN1's performance to a whole new level. With its two-way dampers and adjustable suspension, the car offers accurate handling adapted to changing track conditions.
