Hyundai Verna Gets Sporty Upgrade with New Spoiler and Amazon Grey Colour
Hyundai is enhancing the Verna's sporty appeal this festive season with a one-piece rear spoiler, though unlike the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, it lacks integrated brake lights.

To make the Hyundai Verna appeal more sporty, Hyundai is now offering it with a new boot-lid mounted spoiler. The brand has also added a new Amazon grey colour scheme to the sedan's catalogue. Besides these two updates, no other change has been made.Its sleek face and angular shape have captured the hearts of many. The new Verna is packed with features, including eye-catching bumper-mounted LED headlamps, a full-width DRL, a stylish blacked-out Parametric grille, 16-inch alloy wheels, and connected-type LED taillights. Prices for the Verna start from Rs 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 17.47 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Verna: Interior and Features
The Hyundai Verna comes loaded with safety features. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). Higher trims elevate safety further with advanced features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Hyundai Verna: Engine
The Hyundai Verna offers a choice of two powerful engines. The 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol engine delivers a smooth and efficient performance, producing 113bhp and 143.8Nm of torque. It can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission for precise control or an IVT gearbox for a seamless driving experience.

For those seeking exhilarating performance, the 1.5-litre Turbocharged Petrol engine is the way to go. It generates an impressive 157bhp and 253Nm of torque, ensuring quick acceleration and thrilling driving dynamics. This engine is available with a six-speed manual transmission for enthusiasts or a seven-speed DCT for effortless gear shifts.
