Renault will unveil the Bridger SUV concept tomorrow, i.e, on March 10, 2026. This concept, in its production avatar, could be a mini version of the Duster for India. While the launch of the Duster is set for March 17, the new SUV is anticipated to be positioned below it with its sub-4-metre proportions. It will be designed and developed in India, which strongly suggests a launch in our market as well. While final details are likely to be revealed at the unveiling tomorrow, here’s everything you can expect.

According to the teasers shared by Renault, the Bridger concept seems to have a boxy stance and muscular silhouette. The bonnet is flat, and there's an illuminated 'Renault' lettering on the fascia. Other notable elements include sturdy roof rails and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The SUV's boxy styling and upright proportions suggest Renault is aiming to enter the lifestyle SUV space dominated by models such as the Mahindra Thar and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
Renault has not revealed any glimpse of the cabin yet. However, the SUV is expected to feature a modern and practicality-focused interior design that aligns with the brand’s philosophy.

The Bridger SUV could come with smart storage spaces and a thoughtfully arranged dashboard. Feature-wise, it may sport a fully digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless connectivity.
The production-spec Bridger is likely to have the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol that does duty on the Renault Kiger. Transmission options are likely to include both manual and automatic gearboxes.
Although Renault hasn’t confirmed it yet, the upcoming SUV is expected to go on sale in India by late 2026 or early 2027. It is likely to be positioned between the Kiger and the soon-to-be-launched Duster in the lineup, with prices estimated between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
