Jaguar Design Vision Concept Teaser

After revealing its new electrified logo and updated brand identity, Jaguar has now teased its new Design Vision Concept, which will mark its official debut on December 2 at Miami Art Week. The concept highlights Jaguar's striking new design direction, with futuristic aesthetics with modern technology. It is said to inspire the brand’s future vehicles. The vehicle's back is visible in the first official teaser photo, notably lacking the customary rear window. Its sleek, aerodynamic appearance is enhanced by the horizontal slats in the center, which probably hide the taillights. The car has a pronounced, squared-off shoulder line and is painted in a metallic blue colour.

While the exact details are unknown at the time, the concept is expected to provide a glimpse of the brand's future models, likely emphasizing electric and sustainable materials. Let’s have a closer look at other highlights of the brand.

Jaguar Goes Electric: New Identity, New Logo

Jaguar has undergone a significant metamorphosis, establishing itself as a premium, all-electric luxury brand. With plans to compete with renowned British luxury brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley, Jaguar's rebranding demonstrates a dedication to strong design, modernism, and exuberance. With the new logo, the iconic Jaguar head and typeface have been abandoned to adopt a more modern design, marking a dramatic change from the previous logo. The four primary components of the company’s new brand identity are two logos, a typeface, a colour scheme, and a graphic code known as ‘strikethrough.’ As of now, Jaguar has not revealed how its new logos will be used on upcoming cars. However, we expect more information to become available once the new Design Vision Concept debuts.

Talking about the new brand identity, the company shares ‘Our vision for Jaguar today is informed by this philosophy. New Jaguar is a brand built around Exuberant Modernism. It is imaginative, bold, and artistic at every touchpoint. It is unique and fearless. This is a reimagining that recaptures the essence of Jaguar, returning it to the values that once made it so loved, but making it relevant for a contemporary audience. We are creating Jaguar for the future, restoring its status as a brand that enriches the lives of our clients and the Jaguar community.'
