Hero MotoCorp is preparing to mark its entry into the electric motorcycle category with the introduction of the Vida VXZ. The company has confirmed that the model will make its global debut at EICMA 2025 in Milan as part of its plan to expand in the electric two-wheeler space. The motorcycle’s debut will help Hero expand its electric vehicle portfolio and build its presence in international markets. The announcement highlights Hero’s long-term plan to build scalable electric platforms that meet growing global demand and align with its strategy for a wider electric product network that serves both domestic and export markets.

The Indian motorcycle manufacturer has released teasers giving an outline of the Vida VXZ’s styling direction. The preview images display a headlamp unit with an LED daytime running light pattern that follows the design theme of the existing Vida range. The rear section shows a split seat layout and separate grab rails, suggesting a layout focused on rider and pillion convenience. The seat and tail structure indicate a design meant for stable movement and added practicality on everyday routes.
Further design hints suggest a layout centred around control and stability. The wide handlebar, seen in the teasers, and the mid-mounted motor paired with a belt-drive setup are expected to support balanced operation. The battery pack appears to be located low within the chassis, which could help achieve better mass distribution and ride balance. A full digital TFT display is also believed to be included, possibly featuring connectivity functions already seen in other Hero products.
Hero’s decision to debut the Vida VXZ at EICMA will help the brand strengthen its global presence. The Milan event provides a platform to showcase design, technology, and market intent at a time when the global electric two-wheeler industry is growing across different user segments. The move also aligns with Hero’s goal of leveraging international visibility to position itself among major global players in the electric mobility segment.
