After building anticipation through teasers on social media, Jeep India has finally introduced the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition at an ex-showroom price of Rs 69.04 lakh. Until now, the Grand Cherokee was only offered in a single Limited (O) variant, priced at Rs 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom). With a premium of Rs 1.54 lakh, the new edition offers upgraded features and a more refined experience over the standard model. However, the model retains the same design and mechanical setup as before. Here’s a complete overview of the newly introduced limited edition.
In terms of styling, the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition retains the model’s iconic design elements, such as the signature seven-slot grille, sleek LED headlamps, squared-off wheel arches, and slim LED taillamps. However, it now offers several practical upgrades. For instance, the new variant features motorised side steps, which make entry and exit simple.

The second-row experience is enhanced with two 11.6-inch Android-based touchscreens, offering built-in audio output and full compatibility with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, among others. The SUV also includes integrated front and rear dash cams.
Jeep India hasn't changed anything under the hood of the SUV. This means the Signature Edition has a familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine with 268bhp and 400Nm. It is coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
The Signature Edition carries forward all the bells and whistles of the standard model. It features a rotary dial for selecting drive modes, heated seats for both front and second row, 8-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming IRVM, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and a 9-speaker Alpine Sound System.

The SUV continues to lock horns with the Mercedes-Benz GLE, the BMW X5, and the Audi Q7.
