Kia Carens Clavis Lineup Updated With New HTX(O) Trim and 6-Seater Options
The 6-seater configurations are now available in the mid-spec HTK+ and HTK+(O) trims. Meanwhile, the new HTX(O) variant is positioned between the HTX and HTX+ trims.

Kia India has expanded the Carens Clavis lineup with new 6-seater options and a feature-rich variant. The more affordable 6-seater configurations are now available in the mid-spec HTK+ and HTK+(O) trims. Meanwhile, the newly introduced HTX(O) variant adds premium features and advanced technology to the higher end of the MPV. That said, the powertrain and design remain unchanged. The Kia car continues to offer three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 113bhp and 144Nm, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with 158bhp and 253Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel with 114bhp and 250Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual (as standard), a 7-speed DCT for the turbo-petrol, and a 6-speed automatic for the diesel. Kia Carens Clavis New 6-Seater Options: Available Variants, Prices
Previously, the six-seater configuration in the Kia MPV was limited to the top-spec HTX+ trim and available only with the turbo-petrol engine. Now, Kia has expanded this option to include mid-spec variants as well. The HTK+ trim offers the 6-seat captain chair layout with both the turbo-petrol DCT and diesel automatic powertrains, while the HTK+(O) variant provides the six-seater only with the turbo-petrol DCT.

Prices for the Kia Carens Clavis six-seater start at Rs 16.28 lakh for the HTK+ trim and reach up to Rs 17.05 lakh for the HTK+(O) variant. Both are ex-showroom figures.
Kia Carens Clavis HTX(O): All You Need to Know
Positioned between the HTX and HTX+ trims, the new HTX (O) variant of the Carens Clavis is offered solely with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It makes premium features like the remote engine start and Bose 8-speaker audio system (previously exclusive to the HTX+) more affordable.

Other than this, the HTX (O) trim retains the amenities offered with the HTX model, such as customisable ambient lighting, dual 12.25-inch digital displays, and a panoramic sunroof. For safety, the variant offers ABS with EBD, six airbags, ESC, and a 360-degree camera. The Kia Carens Clavis HTX (O) variant is priced at Rs 19.27 lakh (both 6- and 7-seater configurations, ex-showroom).
