Kia Sonet and Seltos see a price hike
The Kia Sonet and the Kia Seltos have become dearer to their customers marginally. The brand has hiked the prices of Sonet and Seltos across variants but hasn’t changed the price of the newly launched Seltos's X line variant.

The Kia Sonet and the Kia Seltos have become dearer to their customers marginally. The brand has hiked the prices of Sonet and Seltos across variants but hasn’t changed the price of the newly launched Seltos's X line variant.
Kia has hiked the prices of the two SUVs that the brand retails in India. The Kia Sonet and the Seltos both have seen a price hike ranging from Rs 10,000 up to Rs 20,000.
The petrol variants of the Kia Sonet has seen their prices go up by Rs 10,000, however, the top-spec GTX+ automatic variant retails for the same price as before. The diesel Kia Sonet has seen a price hike of Rs 20,000 across variants, excluding the Sonet HTK+, manual. That variant has seen a bump in price by Rs 10,000 only.
Post the price hike, the petrol variants of the Kia Sonet are priced between Rs 6.87 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The diesel variant of the Kia Sonet now ranges between Rs 8.51 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom).
Moving to the Kia Seltos. The Korean brand has upped the price of the variants offered with the 1.5-litre N.A petrol and 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engines by Rs 10,000; however, the Kia Seltos 1.5-litre HTE petrol variant continues with the same price as before. The diesel models of the Kia Seltos now cost Rs 20,000 more across the variants.
The recently launched top-of-the-line X Line variant of the Seltos has not seen a change in price. Similarly, the Kia Carnival continues with the same pricing as before.
