The Scorpio-N has always been a strong performer for Mahindra, with good monthly sales. To enhance the SUV's popularity, Mahindra has introduced Level 2 ADAS features only on the top-spec Z8 L variant. The Level 2 ADAS package boasts safety features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. The model, offered in both 6- and 7-seat configurations, starts at Rs 21.35 lakh for the Petrol MT 7-Seater and goes up to Rs 25.42 lakh for the Z8 L Diesel AT 4WD 7-Seater. This marks a price increase of up to Rs 48,000 over the previous version.
Mahindra has added a new variant to the Scorpio-N's lineup in India called the Z8 T. It is a higher-spec model, priced between Rs 20.29 lakh and Rs 24.36 lakh (ex-showroom), and offered only in a 7-seater avatar.

Within the range, the Z8 T is placed between the Z8 and the Z8 L trims. It comes equipped with front parking sensors, an electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera. The SUV also gets a 12-speaker Sony audio system, a 6-way powered driver seat, 18-inch alloy wheels, and ventilated front seats. It, however, misses out on the ADAS offered on the Z8 L variant.
The SUV mechanically remains the same, which means it continues to offer a choice between a 2-litre turbo petrol unit and a 2.2-litre diesel engine.

The turbo-petrol mill generates a power output of 200bhp and a peak torque of up to 380Nm, while the diesel unit produces up to 173bhp and up to 400Nm. The transmission options include a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT.
The Scorpio-N is one of the preferred SUVs in the Indian market. It stands as a strong competitor to the Hyundai Alcazar, the Tata Safari, and the MG Hector Plus.
