Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 Automatic Variant Launched in India at Rs 17.39 Lakh

Mahindra has enhanced the variant lineup of its popular Scorpio N Line range by introducing a brand-new Z4 AT trim. The more affordable variant carries a price tag of Rs 17.39 lakh for the petrol and Rs 17.86 lakh for the diesel model. With this roll out, Mahindra significantly lowers the entry barrier for those seeking an automatic Scorpio N, undercutting the Z6 Diesel AT (Rs 18.91 lakh) and Z8 Select Petrol AT (Rs 19.06 lakh). All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. Positioned between the manual base models and the more premium automatic trims, the Z4 AT offers a balanced solution for buyers who want the ease of an automatic gearbox without stepping into the top-tier price bracket.

Mahindra Scorpio N: Exterior

On the design front, the Scorpio N has a commanding presence thanks to its muscular and aggressive appearance. The dual-barrel halogen headlamp, as well as the front grille, are silver accented. Other design highlights include 17-inch alloy wheels with wheel covers, a ski rack that features a black finish, and a rear spoiler.

Mahindra Scorpio N: Powertrain

Talking about the powertrain, everything remains the same. Buyers get to choose between two engine options for the Scorpio-N: a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel unit. 

Speaking of the power figures, the petrol unit churns out 200bhp of maximum power and 380Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 132bhp/300Nm for lower-spec variants and 173bhp/400Nm in the top-of-the-line variant. A six-speed gearbox is paired with both powertrain setups.  

Mahindra Scorpio N: Interior Features and Safety Quotient 

The Z4 AT variant of the Scorpio N is packed with an array of basic and contemporary features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, adjustable seat height, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, lumbar support, cruise control, an instrument cluster, anti-pinch function, electrically adjustable OVRMs, a USB-C outlet for rear occupants, and rear defogger, wiper, and washer.

Enhancing the safety quotient, the Mahindra model boasts an anti-lock braking system (ABS), ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic stability programme (ESP), ventilated disc brakes (all four wheels), hill hold control, electronic brake distribution (EBD), and hill descent control.
