Mahindra XEV 9S SUV Interior Teased Ahead of Launch

Mahindra has shared new interior teasers for the upcoming XEV 9S SUV ahead of its launch on 27 November, giving a clear view of what buyers can expect inside the electric model. The teaser shows the dashboard layout. A wide central touchscreen takes the main position and is expected to support connected vehicle functions for daily use. The teasers also show a rear entertainment mount placed under the central armrest, similar to the setup seen in the XEV 9E. This holder allows rear passengers to position their own devices during travel, offering a more flexible way to use media while on the move.

Physical controls for media and climate operations are clearly visible. These buttons sit within easy reach to ensure quick access without depending only on the touchscreen. The steering wheel carries hard switches for functions such as cruise control and infotainment. The cabin also appears to include multiple storage pockets, including spaces for phones and small items, which support everyday commuting needs.

Similarities with the Mahindra XUV700 and XEV 9E indicate that the XEV 9S continues the brand’s focus on passenger-friendly features. The rear modular screen mount allows users to attach personal devices safely, giving passengers more control over their entertainment. This fits Mahindra’s goal of offering simple and useful tech that can be customised based on the user’s preference.

The XEV 9S may also come with more utility-driven features inside the cabin. Reports suggest the use of soft-touch surfaces in key areas, along with an air filtration system for cleaner in-car airflow. Multiple USB charging outlets are expected, and the second-row seats may offer fold or slide functions, helping users adjust space for either passengers or luggage.
