Mahindra has finally launched the much-awaited XEV 9S in India after teasing it for weeks, along with the BE 6 Formula E Edition. The three-row electric SUV starts at Rs 19.95 lakh and is available with three battery options, spread across four variants. Mahindra will start test drives for the XEV 9S on December 5, followed by bookings on January 14 and deliveries from January 23. The XEV 9S base variant strikes a good balance between practicality and a striking exterior, featuring Bi-LED headlamps with DRLs and 18-inch wheels with aerodynamic covers. It comes with two battery options: 59kWh and 79kWh. The motor delivers 228bhp with the smaller battery and 282bhp with the larger one, while the torque remains constant at 380Nm.
