Mahindra XUV 3XO Mileage, Driving Modes and More Teased Ahead of India Launch on April 29

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to have a higher price tag compared to its predecessor, the XUV300, due to significant upgrades.

As the launch of the XUV 3XO draws closer, Mahindra has once again released an interesting teaser on social media, highlighting the SUV's performance and mileage. The most recent video confirms a mileage of 20.1km/l, an acceleration time of 4.5 seconds (0 to 60km/h), and multiple drive modes such as Zip, Zap, and Zoom. While Mahindra has not officially confirmed anything, industry reports suggest that the mileage figure may be for the diesel (automatic) powertrain, while the acceleration time is for the T-GDI turbo-petrol.

In terms of features, the revised XUV300 will come with significant upgrades such as an all-digital instrument panel, a Harman Kardon music system, AdrenoX-connected car tech, a panoramic sunroof, and remote and dual-zone climate control. It will continue to rival the likes of the Nissan Magnite, the Renault Kiger, the Tata Nexon, the Hyundai Venue, and the Kia Sonet in the segment. Mahindra XUV 3XO: Engine and Other Highlights 

The SUV will likely have the same engine options as before, which include a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol engine with 128bhp and 250Nm, and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with 108bhp and 200Nm. There's also a 1.5-litre diesel motor that churns out 115bhp and 300Nm. 

The XUV 3XO will have new alloy wheels, an inverted C-shaped LED DRL, and a new paint job, according to previous teasers. It is likely to feature ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, and rear AC vents. The SUV's safety net is expected to include a 360-degree camera, up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a Level 2 ADAS kit.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Price and Rivals 

With a significant makeover, the XUV 3XO will cost more than its predecessor (XUV300), which has a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to challenge other sub-compact SUVs like the Kia Sonet, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the Hyundai Venue, and the Tata Nexon.
