Mahindra has dropped a new teaser for the XUV 7XO, an updated and rebadged iteration of the XUV700, ahead of its official debut on January 5, 2026. While previous teasers highlighted exterior updates, the new one showcases the interior for the first time, confirming the long-rumoured triple-screen dashboard setup for the updated SUV. Bookings for the SUV are currently open at a token amount of Rs 21,000, while pricing details are expected to be revealed next year. Given the added features and updates, the XUV 7XO is likely to be priced higher than the existing XUV700, which is priced between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 23.71 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra has added a wide triple-screen setup in the cabin, a feature we’ve seen in its newest electric models, the XEV 9s and the XEV 9e. The layout integrates a digital instrument console, a central touchscreen, and an entertainment display for the front passenger.

Among other highlights are a beige and tan theme, a powered boss mode for the passenger, an illuminated two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting across the cabin, a panoramic sunroof, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The XUV 7XO is likely to come with ventilated rear seats in the six-seater variant, dual-zone auto AC, sliding middle-row seats, and massaging front seats. It will reportedly retain its comprehensive safety suite, ranging from a 360-degree camera to electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, up to seven airbags, and ISOFIX mounts, and Level 2 ADAS.

Since this is a facelift, Mahindra is not expected to make any changes to the powertrain. The XUV 7XO should continue with the same lineup, including a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with 197bhp and 380Nm, a 2.2-litre diesel with 153bhp and 360Nm for front-wheel-drive models, and a more powerful 182bhp/450Nm diesel option available with both FWD and AWD.
