Mahindra has launched the XUV 7XO in India, with a starting price of Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is essentially a rebadged version of the XUV700, but it comes with an improved suspension setup, sharper exterior styling, and a more feature-rich, advanced cabin. Mechanically, however, Mahindra has kept things unchanged, with the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with both manual and automatic transmission options. If you’re planning to buy the new Mahindra XUV 7XO, here’s a detailed look at its variants, booking schedule, delivery timelines, and everything else you need to know.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is available in a range of variants, including AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L, spread across different combinations of engines, transmissions, and seating configurations. The base AX variant starts at Rs 13.66 lakh for the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with a manual gearbox, while the 2.2-litre diesel manual is priced at Rs 14.96 lakh. The higher-spec AX7T and AX7L variants, including automatic options, range from Rs 20.99 lakh to Rs 24.11 lakh, depending on engine type and seating layout.
It’s worth noting that these are introductory prices, applicable to the first 40,000 customer deliveries and subject to terms and conditions. Automatic transmission options carry an additional cost of Rs 1.45 lakh, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup comes at an extra Rs 2.45 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Mahindra will open new bookings for the XUV 7XO starting January 14, 2026. Deliveries for the higher-end AX7, AX7T, and AX7L variants will kick off on the same day, giving priority to pre-booked customers, while the AX, AX3, and AX5 variants are set to reach buyers from April 2026.

The XUV 7XO comes packed with an array of features, including a two-spoke steering wheel, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, electric boss mode for the front passenger seat, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, multi-zone ambient lighting, BYOD functionality, and high-density seat foam with first-in-segment plush padding, and ventilated front and rear seats.
