Maruti Suzuki Baleno Gets Discount of up to Rs 57,000 in March

Priced between Rs 6.66 lakh and Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom), the Maruti Suzuki Baleno can be had in four variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.

For March 2024, Maruti Suzuki is offering benefits of up to Rs 57,000 on its model from the Nexa range, the Baleno. Those looking to buy can avail of a cash discount of up to Rs 35,000, an exchange bonus worth Rs 15,000, and a corporate benefit of Rs 7,000. However, these discounts and offers may vary depending on the region, variant, availability, and more. Priced between Rs 6.66 lakh and Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom), the hatchback can be had in four variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. 

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a 1.2-litre Dual-Jet petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. In petrol mode, the hatchback makes 89bhp and 113Nm of peak torque. When running on CNG, it produces 76.4bhp and 98.5Nm whilst being mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Launched in October 2022, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno S-CNG was the brand's first Nexa model to come with a factory-fitted CNG kit. Offered in two variants Delta and Zeta, the Baleno S-CNG is priced from Rs 8.40 lakh to Rs 9.33 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most expensive CNG vehicles in India. 

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Topped Sales Charts in Jan. 2024

In January 2024, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno from the Nexa outlet emerged as the bestselling car in India. The sales figures of the premium hatchback surpassed the sales of the Tata Punch and the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R. The company sold 19,630 units in January 2024 against 16,357 units in January 2023, marking a 20 per cent year-over-year increase. However, the hatchback witnessed a decline in sales in February 2024, with the carmaker reporting 17,517 units sold. The vehicle is built on the Heartect platform and comes equipped with features such as a 9.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heads-up display, an Arkamys sound system with four speakers and two tweeters, cruise control, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, and keyless entry. 

Safety-wise, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno offers up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP), ISOFIX anchorages, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, hill-hold assist, and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. Seven monotone colour options are on offer – Opulent Red, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Luxe Beige, and Pearl Midnight Black.
