Maruti Suzuki has made available a higher spec version of the Baleno automatic in Zeta trim.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the automatic version of the Baleno in the higher spec Zeta variant of the car with more equipment as it was only available in the lower Delta variant as of now which does not come with a lot of features available in higher spec variants. With the introduction of the Baleno Zeta AT at Rs. 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), you can now have a better equipped Baleno automatic.

In addition to rather convenient keyless entry and stop / start system, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Zeta AT also gets chrome door handles, alloy wheels, interior illumination lamps for boot, glovebox, football, driver information display, leather wrapped steering wheel, automatic head lamps, front fog lamps, auto dimming IRVM, telescopically adjustable steering, follow me home head lamps, front centre arm rest with storage box and a height adjustable driver’s seat.

Introducing the new variant R. S. Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said,“ Baleno has rapidly found success to become a popular premium hatchback owing to its design, technology and performance. We are thankful to customers for the support and continue our efforts to improve its availability. The automatic option – Continuous Variable Transmission – offered on the Delta variant has been much appreciated by the customers. We are now offering CVT on the Zeta variant as well, to popularise two pedal technologies.”

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno automatic is available with the company’s 1.2 litre, four cylinder petrol engine developing 83bhp of max power @ 6,000rpm and 115Nm of peak torque @ 4,000rpm. The engine is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission and has an ARAI rated fuel efficiency figure of 21.4 km/l.
