Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Black Edition variants of its Arena range of models, following the introduction of the Black Edition of its Nexa range of cars a few weeks ago. While Maruti Suzuki did not offer a black colour on its cars for a long time prior to the launch of the Grand Vitara, the increased popularity of the colour has gotten the company back into the black colour segment. Currently, Maruti Suzuki is commemorating 40 years of operations in India. The Black Edition serves as a way to celebrate the company's four decades in India. With the exception of the base Alto 800 model, all Maruti Suzuki Arena vehicles now come in Black colour. Buyers who opt for the Xtra Edition pack, an optional package, can select the Black colour for cars like the Alto K10, the S-Presso, and the WagonR.
Multiple cosmetic changes are included in the Black Edition variants. It has several upgrades, such as a new spoiler, skid plates, moulding that looks different, a steering cover, an interior styling kit, mats, door visors, and other small details. Depending on the model you select, the accessories may vary. The cost of the Xtra Edition pack for the WagonR is only Rs 3,000 compared to Rs 19,990 for the entry-level Alto K10. The same package is priced at Rs 14,990 for the S-Presso. The Swift costs Rs 24,990, but it also comes with extra upgrades like a roof-mounted spoiler, different garnish, seat covers, side mouldings, door visors, and more. All the Swift-specific accessories as well as extras like an interior styling kit and chrome garnishes are included in the price of Rs 23,990 for the Dzire Xtra Edition.
Active and Cool Packages are available for the Celerio model of the Arena lineup. With the new packages, the Celerio gets a window frame kit, door visor, interior garnish, body cladding, front splitter, side skirt, and more. The Indulge package for the Ertiga costs Rs 23,990. Side body moulding, door sill guards, quilted seat covers, 3D mats, an armrest bezel, and other features are included as upgrades. The most expensive kit is for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which costs Rs 35,990. It comes with a trunk organiser, illuminated logo and sill guard, 3D mat, window frame kit all around, and various mouldings, among other things.
Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the brand-new Fronx and Jimny 5-door at the 2023 Auto Expo. The upcoming cars will start arriving in dealerships soon. Moreover, the manufacturer has officially started accepting bookings for both models, and the number of reservations for the Jimny off-roader has surpassed 9,000 units as of the most recent update, which came last week.
