Until now, we only knew the starting BaaS price of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. Now, the complete price list of the SUV, both with and without the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, has been revealed. The e Vitara has three core variants (Delta, Zeta, and Alpha), and is offered with two battery pack options (49kWh and 61kWh). The smaller 49kWh battery is exclusive to the base Delta variant, while the larger 61kWh unit is offered in the higher Zeta and Alpha trims. In terms of design, Maruti’s first-ever electric SUV boasts a rugged stance with sturdy proportions. It measures 4,275mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,640mm in height, with a 2,700mm wheelbase.

As you can see in the table above, the e Vitara ranges from Rs 15.99 lakh to Rs 20.01 lakh when purchased outright with the battery included. It is also offered with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan, which significantly reduces the upfront vehicle cost but adds a battery usage fee charged on a per-kilometre basis.

Under the BaaS model, the Delta variant is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh with a battery usage charge of Rs 3.99 per km, while the Zeta and Alpha variants are priced from Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 14.29 lakh respectively, each with a battery usage fee of Rs 4.39 per km (Rs 14.51 lakh for the Alpha Dual-Tone).

The Delta variant is powered by a 49kWh battery pack that offers a claimed driving range of up to 440 kilometres on a single charge. It is paired with a single electric motor producing 142bhp and 193Nm of torque. Using a 7.4kW AC home charger, the battery can be fully charged in approximately 6.5 hours, while a DC fast charger can top it up in about 45 minutes.
On the other hand, the Zeta and Alpha variants come equipped with a larger 61kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed range of up to 543 kilometres. These versions generate a higher 172bhp, with torque remaining the same at 193Nm. Charging via an AC charger takes roughly 9 hours, whereas DC fast charging time is identical at around 45 minutes.
