Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition launched

The limited edition Ertiga comes with a number of cosmetic updates on the inside-out and is only available in VXi and VDi trims.

Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition variant of the Ertiga in the market. The special edition variant will be available in both petrol and diesel versions and features cosmetic updates on the inside-out along with a new colour option. The special edition variants are priced between Rs 7.85 lakh and Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Ertiga limited edition will only be available in VXi and VDi variants of the MPV. In addition to what’s been already offered, the special edition adds new alloy wheels, chrome fog-lamp bezel, chrome side molding and a new exterior shade called Exquisite Maroon – although there are two more colours to choose from. Inside, the new variant gets premium seat covers, wooden inserts, a front seat armrest, dual tone steering cover, cushion pillows and white ambient light.

On the mechanical front, there have been no changes. The petrol version is powered by a 1.4-litre engine developing 91bhp and 130Nm of peak torque and can be paired with a 5-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The diesel version comes fitted with a 1.3-litre engine that is good for 88bhp and 200Nm of torque. It’s only available with a 5-speed manual, although it gets the SHVS mild hybrid system.
