Maruti Suzuki has revealed its long-awaited mid-size SUV, the Victoris, in India, following a string of teasers. The SUV stands out as Maruti Suzuki's first-ever car with ADAS. It is also the brand's second car after the Dzire to score a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash tests. Other notable highlights include a segment-first smart powered tailgate with gesture control, Alexa Auto Integration, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a Dolby Atmos surround sound system, and six airbags (standard). The Victoris is offered with a range of powertrain options, including a petrol, a CNG with an underbody tank for improved boot space, and a strong hybrid setup backed by a heavily localised battery system. The car comes with ten colour options (including two new ones), personalised options, and six core variants, including LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+, and ZXI+(O). It will be sold through Maruti Suzuki's Arena dealership in India.

The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology (102bhp/137Nm) can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The NA petrol variant is also available with a factory-fitted CNG system (with an underbody tank), and paired solely with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain (114.4bhp/141Nm) comes exclusively mated to an e-CVT. The Victoris also offers an all-wheel-drive system on the petrol automatic variant.
The Victoris SUV gives off strong e Vitara vibes from the front. It features sleek LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights (DRLs), flanked by fog lamps and air ducts for improved aerodynamics. There's also a large Suzuki logo, beneath which sit the front camera and ADAS sensors.

At the rear, the Victoris features a roof-integrated spoiler with an embedded third brake light, connected LED taillamps, and variant-specific badging (Hybrid/CNG).

Maruti Suzuki has equipped its new compact SUV with features such as ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a sunroof, an AI-enabled Alexa voice assistant, Suzuki Connect with over 60 connected car features, a head-up display, and 60W fast-charging support.
