Maruti Suzuki has revealed prices for its much-anticipated Arena SUV, the Victoris, in India. The announcement comes shortly after the SUV secured a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests. Notably, the Victoris also holds a 5-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP, making it Maruti Suzuki’s second model after the Dzire to achieve a perfect score from India’s official crash testing agency. In terms of design, the Victoris shares little to nothing with its premium Nexa cousin, the Grand Vitara. The front-end styling gives off a strong e vitara vibe. The LED headlamps are sharp and sleek, featuring daytime running lights. They are flanked by neatly positioned fog lamps and air ducts. A large Suzuki logo sits above the front camera and ADAS sensors, while 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and robust body cladding round off the sides.
At the rear, the Victoris features a sporty roof spoiler with an integrated third brake light, sleek connected LED taillights, and variant-specific badges marking Hybrid and CNG models. Here's a look at the SUV's variant-wise ex-showroom prices (introductory).

While there is a stark difference in design, the Victoris and the Grand Vitara share similar powertrains. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology produces 102bhp and 137Nm. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The same unit is also available with CNG (featuring an underbody tank) and a single 5-speed manual gearbox. The Victoris also comes with a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain that churns out 114.4bhp and 141Nm mated solely to an e-CVT.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the Victoris outperforms the Grand Vitara across the majority of variants. The strong hybrid version delivers a mileage of up to 28.65km/l, slightly higher than the Grand Vitara’s 27.97km/l. Even in the mild-hybrid and CNG models, the Victoris consistently offers marginally better fuel economy.

The Victoris has a dual-tone cabin. It is equipped with an array of advanced amenities, including an 8-speaker Infinity sound system with subwoofer, 64-colour ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, an AI-enabled Alexa voice assistant, Suzuki Connect with over 60 connected car features, a head-up display, and 60W fast-charging support.
