The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has garnered more than 25,000 bookings within just two weeks of its launch on September 15. Due to strong demand, the waiting period has now been extended to 10 weeks for select variants, though details on the specific models affected are yet to be disclosed. Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 1.90 lakh units last month, including 1.36 lakh domestic, 11,750 to OEMs, and 42,204 exports, marking its highest-ever monthly exports. It credited the recent GST reforms for a boost in buyer sentiment, reflected in a festive delivery record of 1.65 lakh vehicles in just the first eight days of Navratri. With over 1.50 lakh bookings logged during the festive window and a target of 2 lakh deliveries by Dussehra, the Victoris appears to be a key driver in what Maruti calls its most successful Navratri period yet. Here’s all you need to know about Maruti Suzuki’s new mid-size SUV.
