Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift petrol launched at Rs 7.34 lakh

First shown at the 2020 Auto Expo, the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift has finally gone on sale, with ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹7.34 lakh to ₹11.40 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2020 Vitara Brezza facelift at ₹7.34 lakh for the entry-level non-hybrid Lxi variant. The top-spec Zxi+ (AT) dual-tone variant is priced at ₹11.40 lakh. Available with Smart Hybrid tech as well, the 2020 Vitara Brezza's hybrid range is priced between ₹9.75 lakh & ₹11.15 lakh. All figures are ex-showroom, Delhi. In comparison, the new prices start lower by about ₹29,000 and end higher by about ₹80,000 compared to the old Brezza's prices. 

With the mandatory BS-VI update, the Vitara Brezza ditches the old Fiat-sourced diesel motor for Maruti's 1.5-litre K-Series petrol motor (which is also available with the Smart Hybrid setup). While the power specifications are yet to be revealed (likely to be the same as the Ciaz - 103bhp & 138Nm), what we do know is that the new Brezza now comes with a 4-speed torque converter automatic in exchange for the diesel Brezza's AMT gearbox. You can read all about the 2020 Vitara Brezza's exterior & interior updates here.
