Mercedes-Benz has launched the extensively updated E-class LWB, which now gets an AMG-Line trim in the E 350d variant. While the sedan now comes with substantial updates, its prices have increased only marginally.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB has gone through a mid-life-cycle change, as the sedan has been extensively updated for the 2021 model year (MY21). The changes have come at a marginal price hike – the E-Class LWB facelift now starts at Rs 63.66 lakh as opposed to Rs 62.83 lakh for the E 200 Expression variant of the pre-facelift model. The top trim E 350d has been priced at Rs 80.9 lakh, which is just Rs 1.2 lakh over the pre-facelift model.

The outside changes include a reworked fascia, which sports a new grille. The styling of the grille closely follows the design which was recently observed on the A-Class Limousine. Mercedes-Benz has done away with the twin LED DRL strips, and the headlamp comes integrated with a single LED DRL strip along with restyled projector headlamps. The bumpers on either end are moulded differently. The top E 350d AMG-Line trim gets minor exterior tweaks. The E 350d AMG-Line features a sportier set of bumpers and flaunts a set of 18-inch AMG-double-spoke alloy wheels. The side skirts on the E 350d AMG-Line are styled differently and sport chrome embellishments.

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be offered with a standard three-year warranty from the day of purchase. Customers can also opt for different service packages, starting from Rs 67,800 for two years.
