After unveiling the Majestor earlier this year, MG is now set to announce its prices in India on April 20, 2026. Bookings for the SUV are currently open for a token amount of Rs 41,000, while deliveries are scheduled to begin in May. Touted as a full-size SUV, the MG Majestor will replace the Gloster as the brand’s flagship model in the lineup and will rival models like the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq. It will be offered in Metal Black, Pearl White, Concrete Grey, and Metal Ash colour options. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming MG SUV.

The MG Majestor is expected to be priced in the Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom) bracket, which makes it one of the higher-priced options in the segment. If priced within this range, the Majestor would be positioned above its closest rivals, the Toyota Fortuner, which starts at Rs 34.16 lakh, while also overlapping with the upper range of the Skoda Kodiaq, priced from Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Although it is too early to comment on prices, MG is likely to pitch the Majestor as a more premium and feature-rich alternative for buyers who are willing to spend extra for added luxury, space, and technology over the more established and longer-running models.
MG’s new flagship SUV has a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that delivers 212bhp of maximum power and 478Nm of peak torque, and a ZF-sourced 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. The SUV features an on-demand 4WD system along with M-Hub’s 10 terrain modes. It also comes equipped with advanced hardware such as a low-range transfer case, an M-Crawl function for tricky surfaces, and three locking differentials.

MG offers the Majestor with the option to opt for either a 6-seater layout with middle-row captain seats or a 7-seater configuration with a bench. The second-row seats can fold or slide for easier access. Other amenities include storage pockets, an auto-tilt function for the outside rearview mirrors, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, charging outlets for all three rows, cup holders, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system.
In terms of safety, the Majestor has hill-hold assist, electronic stability control, six airbags, ISOFIX anchorages, hill-descent control, and Level 2 ADAS.
