MG Reassure launched as certified pre-owned car business
MG Motor India has forayed into the certified pre-owned car reselling business with a new vertical, MG Reassure. Vehicles under the MG Reassure program will undergo 160+ quality checks before they are up for resale.

Under MG Reassure, each pre-owned vehicle will be offered with a 3-year/unlimited km warranty, 3-year road-side assistance, and three free services.
MG Motor India has forayed into the certified pre-owned car reselling business with a new vertical – MG Reassure. However, to complement its tagline for the Hector – 'It's a human thing' – MG Reassure has been described as a 'Certified Pre-Loved Car Vertical'. As with all pre-owned car businesses, MG Reassure is also aimed at providing a good resale value to current MG customers in India. It will also help the brand expand its customer base and improve customer retention.
Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Gaurav Gupta (Chief Commercial Officer - MG Motor India) said, 'Through MG Reassure, we want to create a platform extending transparency, speed, peace of mind, and assurance of the best resale value of MG cars to our customers across India. This program also offers a unique opportunity to other patrons for purchasing quality pre-loved MG cars from our Reassure centres. The initiative will enhance customer retention and empower our patrons to stay within the MG Family while enjoying flexible ownership.'
As per MG, vehicles under the MG Reassure program will undergo 160+ quality checks before they are offered for resale. As for buying the used units from customers, MG will undertake a 'methodical evaluation' to calculate the used car's residual value. MG owners will also have the freedom to sell their existing MG car (without any obligation) in exchange for purchasing a new MG product.
As mentioned, all MG Reaasure cars will be offered with the assurance of 3-year/unlimited km warranty, 3-years road-side assistance, and three free services.
We are yet to find out if MG Motor India will set up dedicated MG Reassure centres or if this vertical will operate from existing MG dealerships.
