Mini Cooper S Carbon Edition bookings commence on Amazon

The Mini Cooper S Carbon Edition and the John Cooper Works package is now available for bookings on Amazon.

For an amount of Rs. 50,000/- you can now book your very own Mini Cooper S Carbon Edition with a John Cooper Works (JCW) performance tuning package as well. Finally, the John Copper Works package, which was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo, has arrived in India in its latest form for an ex-showroom price of Rs. 39.9 lakh.

The Carbon Edition Cooper S is exclusively available on the online shopping portal, Amazon as a Completely Built-up unit (CBU). The standard Cooper S Carbon Edition, as standard, has a 2-litre, 4-cylinder, Twin-Power Turbo petrol engine, mated to a 6-speed Sport automatic gearbox, that churns out 192bhp and 280Nm of peak torque which helps it reach 100km/h from a stand-still in 6.7 seconds. With the John Cooper Works tuning kit acceleration time drops by two tenths as the same engine is tuned to produce 210bhp and 300Nm of torque. With the tuning kit, you can also have the official JCW accessories as well in addition to the JCW aerodynamic package.

Mini will offer the Cooper S Carbon Edition in only three exterior colours, Thunder Grey, Midnight Black and Pepper White with the word “Carbon” on the sides. The exterior also gets newly designed LED headlights and tail lights with blackened rings. In addition, you also get 17-inch alloy wheels with 205 profile tyres. The JCW package includes a leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, special door sills, and a different gear lever, and is accented by the red accent trim.
