New Aston Martin DB GT Car to Debut Globally On May 24

Aston Martin, a British manufacturer, will officially debut the new-gen DB GT car on May 24, 2023. The upcoming next-gen touring vehicle will mark the 75th anniversary of the DB line. For starters, 1948 saw the release of the first DB car - the DB2. After this, the DB bloodline developed over time and gave birth to some of the most well-known sports vehicles comprising the DB5, the DB6, and the DB9. According to the market reports, the new vehicle will belong to the firm's strategy of introducing eight new cars by 2026. There is no official confirmation about the specs of the new Aston Martin DB GT, but industry reports suggest that it will pay a proper homage to the DB line and will deliver a modern perspective on the iconic DB design. New Aston Martin DB GT: Design

Not many exact details about the upcoming vehicle are known as of now. The teasers shared by the British automaker during the announcement of the model are shadowed, giving a little peek into the model. According to market reports, the new vehicle will likely be a successor to the current DB11. According to teasers, it will reportedly feature a wide grille, sweptback teardrop headlights, a sculpted bonnet, and a sloping roofline. Further, sideways, the new Aston Martin DB GT will be surrounded by two doors, ORVMs, flush-fitted door handles, and multi-spoke wheels with a gold finish. The vehicle's rear end might include a raked windscreen, a full-width taillamp, and dual exhaust tips. 

Aston Martin has also shared a teaser highlighting the car’s center console. There will be buttons for changing the suspension, as well as an active exhaust function. Additionally, controls will also be available for the stereo, climate control, heated/ventilated seats, driving assistance systems, stability and traction settings, and other amenities. A large engine start/stop button will be located in the centre of the console, and a piece of the digital display will have a smart climate control system.

The British automaker is yet to share information about the engine of the model. However, industry reports hint that the new vehicle will presumably draw power from a V12 engine. Reports further indicate that the next-generation DB might also sport a plug-in hybrid powertrain later. We believe that closer to the launch more details on its exact engine and power output will likely emerge.

New Aston Martin DB GT: Price 

The price announcement of the new-gen DB is most likely to occur on May 24. However, several price assumptions have been made ahead of the new vehicle's debut in the international market. According to these rumours, the upcoming Aston Martin DB GT might cost $333,686 (approx Rs. 2.7 crore). In India, the new-gen model is unlikely to debut anytime soon.
