Aston Martin Vantage Teaser

Aston Martin will officially unveil its supercar—the Vantage—with a mid-cycle update on February 12. On the same day, the British automaker will also reveal the Vantage GT3 race car and the new AMR24 Formula 1 Challenger. Though Aston Martin hasn't disclosed any details on features or design improvements, it's expected that the new Vantage will have a few upgrades. These consist of larger headlights, a smaller grille, reworked front fenders, wider rear wheel arches, and turn signals integrated into the side mirror caps. Although the official price for the car in the global market has not been announced, it is expected to be higher than the current model. To know more about the potential specs of the upcoming Vantage, let's take a look.

It is expected that the upcoming Vantage will be propelled by a modified version of the AMG's twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine. Although there is no formal update on the performance numbers, the new Vantage will likely deliver slightly more power than its predecessor. The current Vantage's 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine generates 503bhp. It's unlikely that a manual transmission would be available with the facelift. The outgoing model only includes an automatic gearbox. Furthermore, revised dampers, an electronically controlled rear differential, and stiffer anti-roll bars are all anticipated with the new Vantage, along with a few changes to the chassis.

Numerous improvements are expected for the Vantage's interior, including high-end materials and a redesigned dashboard layout featuring Aston Martin's infotainment system, previously seen in the DB12.

To give you an idea, the starting price of the current model is £134,160 in the UK and approximately $150,000 in the US.
