Audi has revamped the aggressive Audi S3 Sedan and S3 Sportback with more power and better driving dynamics just one month after the A3 was modified for the 2025 model year. With a significant boost in power and some chassis alterations, updated model aims to appeal to a wider range of customers.
The S3 has received the same cosmetic and interior enhancements, just like the updated Audi A3, such as new headlights and a new paint job. Slated; to be launched in May, the car's UK pricing and availability are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to cost more than the current model's Euro 44,720 (about Rs 40.38 lakh). Let's take a closer look at the details of the revamped models.
New Audi S3: Important Mechanical Updates
Audi has increased the engine's power and torque output by 23bhp and 20Nm, respectively. As a result, the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder mill now churns out 323.5bhp of maximum power and 420Nm of peak torque. The vehicle can go from 0 to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 250km/h.
In addition to tweaking the power unit, the technical team at Audi has also modified the transmission. The company claims that the seven-speed S tronic allows for faster starts. On top of that, it gets the same torque splitter as the Rs 3, which allows for fully adjustable torque distribution between the two rear wheels. According to Audi, new pivot and stiffer bearings have been used in the suspension retuning. The 2025 S3 comes equipped with a sports suspension system, which lowers the body by 15mm as compared to the standard A3.
It is also equipped with new electronic stabilisation control for better cornering abilities, among other improvements. At the front, larger and thicker discs have been added to the braking system, and every time the driver applies pressure, two-piston callipers encircle the discs. The car now gets the Dynamic Plus mode besides the Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Individual, and Efficiency modes, enhancing its agility.

On the design front, the four-door sedan and five-door hatch now get a redesigned grille, a front spoiler, motorsports-inspired struts, a new bumper, and modified LED and LED Matrix headlamps. It is further distinguished from the regular A3 by the diffuser, four exhaust tips, wheels, and a few other elements. The manufacturer has also highlighted the District Green, Ascari Blue, Progressive Red, and Daytona Gray paint options available with the car, the latter of which is now offered in a matte finish for the first time.

Inside, the S3 range is equipped with new air vents, a unique fabric panel on the front doors, improved ambient lighting, and a new shifter design. A few more features include Dinamica microfibre, carbon fibre trim, sports seats with integrated headrests and additional side bolstering, a black headliner, backlit door sills, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, chrome-plated paddle shifters, and stainless steel pedals. Additionally, it gets Audi's virtual cockpit plus, a wireless charging pad, four USB-C charging outlets, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a DAB+ digital radio.
