The next-gen Kia Seltos will make its global debut in India tomorrow, December 10. As seen in multiple official teasers shared by the South Korean brand, the updated SUV will receive a complete design overhaul inspired by Kia’s evolving global styling cues. Up front, there’s a wider and more imposing chrome-finished Tiger Nose grille, with the refreshed Kia logo sitting above it. The lighting setup sees a prominent upgrade with slim vertical DRLs and headlamps that tuck neatly into the grille’s outer edges, featuring C-shaped and horizontal LED patterns. The side profile looks more premium, featuring silver roof rails, flush door handles, a distinctive kink in the window line, and prominent wheel-arch cladding. The rear of the new-gen Kia Seltos showcases a modern, minimalist approach, with a revamped bumper, a slim, connected taillight bar, and a silver faux skid plate.

Although Kia hasn’t revealed full details yet, the new Seltos is likely to feature a tech-forward, minimalist cabin inspired by the Syros and EV9. It could get a triple-screen setup, comprising two 12.3-inch displays and a 5-inch climate control touchscreen. Additional amenities include dual-zone climate control with rear vents, wireless charging, electric boss mode similar to the Creta, and electrically adjustable cooling seats. For the first time on this model, Kia will offer a panoramic sunroof and LED welcome animations.
The India-spec second-generation Kia Seltos is likely to carry forward the same engine lineup as the current model. This includes a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 113bhp and 144Nm, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol generating 158bhp and 253Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel putting out 114.4bhp and 250Nm.

All variants are likely to continue with front-wheel drive, while there’s also a possibility of a new hybrid powertrain joining the lineup for enhanced efficiency.
