Kia has unveiled the 2026 EV9 Nightfall Edition at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, introducing a bold new variant of its flagship electric SUV. Building upon the dual-motor Land AWD trim, this special edition features a distinctive gloss-black exterior, including 20-inch wheels and exclusive Roadrider Brown paint. Inside, the cabin is outfitted in an all-black theme with genuine stitching and seating for six or seven. Performance-wise, the Nightfall Edition comes standard with Boost mode, enhancing torque from 600Nm to 700Nm, enabling a 0-100km/h sprint in just 4.5 seconds. This blend of design and performance positions the EV9 Nightfall Edition as a standout in the electric SUV segment.
The EV9 Nightfall Edition is available on the dual-motor Land AWD trim, offering both six- and seven-seat options. This special variant embraces Kia’s Nightfall concept, which incorporates bold black accents across the exterior, including grille elements, mirror caps, trim, badging, and unique 20-inch wheels.

Additionally, a new Roadrider Brown paint job is introduced specifically for this edition.
Inside, the all-black theme continues, featuring premium upholstery with genuine stitching and a black headliner. The six-seat version comes with captain’s chairs in the second row, though a 60/40 split-fold bench is available for a seven-seat configuration. The vehicle is also equipped with high-end features such as dual sunroofs, ventilated front seats, twin 12.3-inch units for both the instrument cluster and infotainment, and a heated steering wheel.
On the safety front, the EV9 Nightfall Edition includes surround-view cameras, blind-spot monitoring, parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control.
When it comes to performance, the SUV is equipped with a Boost function that enhances torque from 600Nm to 700Nm, propelling it from 0 to 97km/h in 4.5 seconds and offering an impressive range of 451 km per full charge.

All 2026 EV9 models will be equipped with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, with an optional adapter for CCS charging stations. Manufactured at Kia’s Georgia plant, the 2026 EV9 is expected to have a price similar to the previous model and will be available in the U.S. during the second quarter of this year.
