The Kia Seltos is set to launch in India tomorrow, on 2 January, with the South Korean brand finally revealing prices for the updated SUV. Kia will introduce the new Seltos with four core variants: HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX, keeping things familiar for buyers. If you like your SUV with extra road presence, the X-Line package will be offered only on the GTX variant. The SUV now moves to Kia’s global K3 platform, but the engine options stay the same as before.

Buyers will continue to get the three 1.5-litre engine choices, along with their existing gearbox options. For fans of the Seltos, this update focuses more on design, tech and features.
The new Kia Seltos gets a sharper look. The front features Kia’s updated digital take on the tiger-nose grille, finished in gloss black with dark metallic detailing. The lighting setup has been revised too, with vertical LED elements and squared-off headlamps placed at the edges of the grille.

From the side, new 18-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles and updated cladding add a fresh touch. At the rear, redesigned LED tail-lamps are connected by a full-width light bar. Wheel options vary by variant, ranging from 16-inch steel wheels to 17- and 18-inch alloys.
The cabin feels familiar yet more tech-focused. The dashboard layout includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 5.0-inch HVAC display, all tied together by a large 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel. Kia has added features like a dual-tone steering wheel, ventilated front seats with memory and relaxation modes, rear reclining seats and a head-up display. You also get drive and traction modes, a Bose 8-speaker audio system, 64-colour ambient lighting and wireless phone charging.

Connectivity and convenience remain a strong point. The new Seltos supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Smart Key Proximity Unlock and Kia Connect 2.0 with connected features and Over-the-Air updates. These additions aim to make daily driving and long trips easier, especially for buyers who like staying connected on the move.

In terms of variants, the Seltos range is split into Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line versions. The Tech Line forms the base with HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX and HTX (A) variants. The GT Line sits above this with GTX and GTX (A), adding more features. The X-Line remains a styling-focused option with a blacked-out theme and is offered only with GT Line variants.
