The new-generation Kia Seltos has made its global debut in India with 'Digital Tiger Face', an 80mm longer wheelbase, a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, and a head-up display (HUD).

Kia’s debut model for India, the Seltos, has received its first-generation upgrade, and it is now more closely aligned with the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. While the engine remains the same, Kia’s popular compact SUV now sits on an Global K3 platform. It has also seen a modest increase in size compared to its previous generation.
The SUV adds four new colours to its existing palette: Morning Haze, Magma Red, Frost Blue, and Ivory Silver Gloss. In terms of features, it is now more comfort- and tech-oriented, with a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, a head-up display (HUD), and a driver’s seat with memory function. The SUV's body lines are clean, and its presence looks noticeably stronger with a wider stance. The bonnet at the front sits lower, complementing the updated Tiger Face styling. The lighting setup is more striking than before, with slim vertical DRLs headlamps that fit neatly along the grille’s edges, highlighted by a combination of C-shaped and horizontal LED elements.
From the side, the new Seltos now appears more refined, featuring prominent wheel-arch cladding, silver roof rails, flush door handles, and a sharp kink in the window line. At the rear, a redesigned bumper, connected taillight strip, and silver faux skid plate complete the SUV’s distinctive design. It is to be noted that some styling and packaging may vary based on the model selected.

The all-new Kia Seltos measures 4,460mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and 1,635mm in height, which makes it 95mm longer and 30mm wider than its predecessor. The wheelbase has also been extended by 80mm, now measuring 2,690mm.

The second-generation Kia Seltos has noticeable interior upgrades, the most notable of which is a command-centric trinity panoramic display. The SUV also includes a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, a 64-colour ambient, and two 12.3-inch displays flanking a 5-inch central touchscreen dedicated to climate control. The boot space has increased from 433 litres to 447 litres, making the Seltos a competitive option in the segment.

In terms of safety, the new Seltos boasts ADAS Level 2 with 21 autonomous features. These include Front Collision Warning and Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Warning and Avoidance, Safe Exit Warning, and a 360-degree camera with Blind View Monitor in the cluster. The interior trims and available features vary across different variants.

The India-spec second-generation Kia Seltos carries forward the familiar engine lineup, including a 1.5‑litre naturally aspirated petrol (113bhp/144Nm), a 1.5‑litre turbo-petrol (158bhp/253Nm), and a 1.5‑litre diesel (114.4bhp/250Nm). Transmission choices also remain the same, from 6-speed manuals to CVTs and DCTs, all with front-wheel drive.
