Mahindra has just dropped a new teaser on its social media, hinting at yet another edition of the BE 6 electric SUV. Apart from confirming the launch date, which is November 26, the company remained tight-lipped about the details, keeping enthusiasts in guessing mode.
While there’s no concrete information as of now, we anticipate that the upcoming edition, based on the BE 6, will align with the brand’s ‘Scream Electric’ campaign, which celebrates the high-energy world of Formula E and the passion of Team Mahindra Racing. It may feature Formula E–inspired graphics and sporty decals, and add to the BE 6’s portfolio after the successful Batman Edition.
Price-wise, the new edition will likely cost more than the standard BE 6 and have a limited production run, similar to its Batman sibling. For reference, the regular Mahindra BE 6 starts at Rs 18.90 lakh, while its Batman Edition is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures.
For those unaware, the BE 6 was driven by Mahindra’s reserve driver around the circuit for demonstration laps during the 2025 London E-Prix. With that run, it became the first Made-in-India electric SUV to drive on the Formula E track. The BE 6 is built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform developed with Volkswagen, and has two battery options: 59kWh and 79kWh. The entry-level 59kWh battery delivers 228bhp, while the larger 79kWh pack boosts power to 282bhp. In terms of range, the smaller battery enables the BE 6 to cover up to 557 kilometres, while the bigger battery extends the distance to 682 kilometres.

Alongside the unnamed BE 6 Edition, Mahindra will launch the XEV 9S on November 27 at the ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru. While full powertrain details are still under wraps, the XEV 9S is expected to use the same LFP battery packs as the XEV 9e and BE 6. The higher variants are likely to offer a range of over 500 kilometres of range and support ultra-fast DC charging.
