New Range Rover Sport deliveries commence in India

The Range Rover Sport has a base price of ₹1.64 crores (ex-showroom) and is offered in four variants.

Jaguar Land Rover has officially started deliveries for the new Range Rover Sport in India. The customers can choose from two powertrain options –a 3.0-litre diesel engine with 346bhp and 700Nm of torque and a 3.0-litre petrol engine with 394bhp and 550Nm of torque. Both engines come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Terrain Response 2 off-road equipment.

Commenting on the latest development, Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, stated, 'The New Range Rover Sport builds on seventeen years of unparalleled sporting luxury by offering newer levels of sophistication and refinement to our highly discerning clients. The third-generation model is the most desirable, advanced, and dynamically capable yet.'

The variant-wise prices for the new Range Rover Sport are listed below.

The MLA-Flex platform, which underpins the new Range Rover Sport, provides next-level performance and handling, along with better efficiency. The SUV also comes with short overhangs and large wheels. The SUV comes with Pre-emptive Air Suspension, Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking, and Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control. Further, the new Range Rover Sport receives dynamic air suspension all around.

The new Range Rover Sport's interior is modern, has more room, and is equipped with user-friendly technology and smart connectivity. A 13.1-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system can be used for navigation, media, and vehicle settings. Moreover, the infotainment system turns into an intuitive personal assistant, as it registers the user's habits and smartly customises the onboard experience.
