Skoda Octavia RS

Skoda Auto India will reintroduce the Octavia RS in November 2025, two years after it was discontinued due to emission regulations. The fourth-generation Octavia RS will return as a fully imported Completely Built-Up (CBU) model and will be sold in limited numbers. To be positioned at the higher end of the company’s range, the Octavia RS is expected to be priced above the Volkswagen Golf GTI, which starts from around Rs 53 lakh (ex-showroom).

On the design front, the Octavia RS receives a blacked-out butterfly grille, larger air intakes, and a lowered ride height. It runs on 18-inch alloy wheels and comes with a revised rear bumper featuring vertical air flaps, a boot-lid spoiler, and a faux diffuser. Multiple colour choices will be available for customers.

Inside, the Octavia RS gets black upholstery with red stitching, sports seats with added bolstering, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and aluminium-finished pedals. It also offers a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 10-inch digital cockpit that supports navigation, media functions, and performance data.

2025 Skoda Octavia RS: Engine

The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the EA888 series, also used in models like the Volkswagen Golf GTI. It develops 261bhp and 370Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox delivering power to the front wheels. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.

In terms of features, Skoda equips the model with powered, heated, and ventilated front seats that include a massage function, along with an ADAS package. As an imported model with restricted supply, it will mainly appeal to buyers seeking a performance-focused sedan in India.
