Tata Motors has launched the all-new Sierra in India, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh. Bookings will begin on December 16, 2025, and deliveries will start on January 15, 2026. While the SUV sticks to its familiar boxy form, it now features modern elements like full-width connected LED light bars at both ends. Tata has recreated the old Alpine Window effect using a large rear window, quarter glass, and a gloss-black roof, but the tailgate-mounted spare wheel is no longer offered.
The top variant rides on 19-inch dual-tone alloys, and there are flush door handles for a cleaner look. Other highlights include rugged bumpers with skid plates, and a gloss black grille. The 2025 Sierra is available in six colour options, including Andaman Adventure, Bengal Rouge, Munnar Mist, Coorg Clouds, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.

The Sierra’s cabin boasts sophistication and a range of premium features. The upholstery is finished in a dual-tone beige and white, complemented by silver highlights on the vents and handles, as well as gloss-black accents on the window console, steering wheel, and climate controls. One of the most notable updates is a segment-first triple-screen layout (the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and an entertainment screen for the co-driver).

The SUV also comes with a 360-degree camera system, Dolby Atmos audio, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charger. Other amenities include a four-spoke steering wheel, 12-speaker JBL audio with soundbar, boss mode (for the front passenger seat), multi-colour ambient lighting, auxiliary taillamp, extendable sun visors, under-thigh support, powered and ventilated front seats, a cooled glovebox, and dual-zone climate control.
The new Tata Sierra comes equipped with hill hold assist, six standard airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Additionally, the SUV comes with Level 2 ADAS, featuring lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking. The feature list will vary based on the variant selected.
Tata is offering the all-new Sierra comes with three powertrain options, including the new 1.5-litre GDi turbo-petrol engine that delivers 158bhp and 255Nm, and is paired solely with a six-speed automatic.

Alongside it, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor producing 105bhp and 145Nm, mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT, is also offered.
Additionally, Tata offers a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel with 116bhp and 260Nm, which can also be had with and 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. Notably, the Sierra will also be the first among the automaker's models to feature an AWD system.
Pricing for the Sierra starts at around Rs 11.49 lakh (introductory ex-showroom). The premium mid-size SUV faces direct contention with some of the segment’s popular models, such as the Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Suzuki Victoris.
