Nissan’s upcoming Gravite MPV is slated to go on sale in India in January 2026, with customer deliveries expected to begin by March. Ahead of its launch, the model has been spotted testing on Indian roads, offering a glimpse of key design elements despite heavy camouflage. The test mule features design cues that were earlier previewed by Nissan during the MPV’s name announcement. The overall proportions are identical to the Triber, but the Nissan MPV adopts a distinct identity through a refreshed design language. Notable elements include sharply swept-back projector headlamps, a prominent front grille, a front bumper with a rectangular central air vent, faux side vents with fog lamps, C-shaped trim accents, LED taillamps, and a squared-off rear bumper. The interior isn’t visible in the most recent spy shots, though reports suggest it will closely mirror the Triber’s cabin.

Nissan has so far kept the interior under wraps, but industry sources indicate that the Gravite will largely share its cabin design with the Renault Triber. That said, Nissan is expected to differentiate the Gravite with some unique features, including new upholstery, colour themes, and select model-specific features.

In terms of equipment, the MPV is likely to offer an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rear-view camera, and a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. Other highlights could include manual air conditioning with roof-mounted vents for the second and third rows, along with a standard six-airbag safety setup.
The Gravite is anticipated to be powered by the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as the updated Triber, producing 71bhp of maximum power and 96Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT transmission. Nissan could expand the lineup with a CNG variant in the future.
