Nissan is making a big push in the Indian market with three new cars in the pipeline. One of these models, the Gravite, will go on sale tomorrow, while details of the remaining two, the Tekton compact SUV and a 7-seater SUV, are yet to be revealed. With the Gravite set to hit Indian roads tomorrow, here’s everything you need to know about its design, engine options, and key features.

Based on the teaser released so far, the Nissan Gravite appears to have proportions that closely resemble its potential platform cousin, the Triber, with a few distinct and more refined design elements. These include a honeycomb-patterned grille, a sculpted bonnet featuring a hood scoop-inspired design. The bumpers and alloy wheels are also new, giving the MPV a sportier and more modern look. At the rear, the MPV gets uniquely styled taillights.

The interior, as seen in the official TVC, sports a black-themed dashboard with soft beige accents on the doors. There’s a centrally located touchscreen with air vents above it, and a new three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls. The Gravite is expected to include features like multiple USB ports, cup holders, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a cooled glove box, wireless charging, storage pockets, and cruise control. Similar to the Triber, the MPV will offer three rows of seats in a flexible 5+2 layout.

Other possible features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six standard airbags, a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Nissan’s 7-seater compact MPV is likely to be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh (both, ex-showroom). It will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the XL6, and the Kia Carens.
