Nissan Magnite Facelift Teaser

The Nissan Magnite Facelift is scheduled to launch in India on October 4, 2024. However, before that, the automaker started releasing teasers for the SUV, to enhance its appeal. The most recent trailer provides a sneak peek of the grille and taillights, while the previous one revealed the new 6-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. It appears that the SUV's grille design resembles the previous version, but earlier spy images indicate it may be larger. The taillights retain the same shape but feature upgraded interior LED lighting components. Though it is not confirmed as of now, the SUV is also likely to have reworked headlamps, modified bumpers (front and back), and new colour schemes. Nissan Magnite Facelift: Interior and Features

There are no official teasers of the interior. Market reports, however, suggest that the SUV will retain its original design but with new colour accents and seat materials. It will include new features such as a larger infotainment system, a single-pane sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Other bits such as a 7-inch digital driver display and a wireless phone charger will be retained.

In terms of safety, the revised Magnite is expected to offer six airbags (as standard) while retaining ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC).

Nissan Magnite Facelift: Powertrain

Nissan hasn't confirmed anything, but the upcoming SUV is expected to have the same 1.0-litre turbocharged and 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine options. The turbocharged mill develops 100bhp and 160Nm (152Nm in CVT), while the naturally aspirated unit generates 72bhp and 96Nm. The transmission chores are handled by either a five-speed manual or AMT.
