Porsche has brought something special for SUV enthusiasts in India with the launch of the Cayenne Black Edition and Cayenne Coupe Black Edition. Priced at Rs 1.8 crore and Rs 1.87 crore (ex-showroom), these versions are aimed at buyers looking for something that stands out. Compared to the standard models, the Black Edition comes at a premium, Rs 31 lakh more for the SUV and Rs 32 lakh extra for the Coupe.

The Black Edition lives up to its name with a bold, dark exterior theme. Highlights include blacked-out headlamps, gloss-black wing mirrors, black window surrounds, and dark Porsche badging. Bronze-tipped exhausts and large 21-inch RS Spyder wheels give both models a sporty stance, while LED puddle lamps now come standard, greeting passengers with a touch of flair every time they enter.
The cabin continues the all-black treatment. There’s a familiar Porsche layout, but with black leather upholstery and brushed aluminium details.

Illuminated door sills add some theatre, while everyday comfort is covered by features like 14-way adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 710W Bose sound system, making long drives and short sprints equally enjoyable.
Performance-wise, Porsche has kept things unchanged under the hood. Both Black Edition models are powered by the 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine, producing 348bhp and 500Nm of torque. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, it delivers the same strong yet smooth driving experience Porsche owners are used to.
