The all-wheel-drive 911 range is now a lot bigger! Porsche has reintroduced the AWD 4S trim for the new-gen 911 Carrera Coupe, Cabriolet, and Targa. These models feature the powerful powertrain from the Carrera S: a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine that produces 473bhp, representing a healthy 30bhp increase over the pre-facelift model. The extra power comes from an enhanced intercooler system, borrowed from the high-performance 911 Turbo. It helps the engine stay cool and work more efficiently. An eight-speed PDK (Porsche Dual-Clutch) automatic transmission sends this power to all four wheels. The 911 Carrera 4S Coupe accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds (with the optional Sport Chrono Package) and has a top speed of 308km/h.

The new 4S trims also come with better standard equipment. This includes a sports exhaust, stronger brakes from the GTS, and improved suspension.
The Carrera 4S adopts the updated styling of the refreshed 992.2 Carrera S, but stands apart with the option of a Targa body style—which is not offered with the Carrera S. The Coupe offers a choice between a pure two-seater or a 2+2 arrangement at no added charge. Meanwhile, Cabriolet and Targa versions feature rear seats as standard equipment. The interior quality across all models has improved, with more leather trim as standard.
All 911 Carrera 4S models share their powerful 408mm front and 380mm rear brakes with the Carrera S and GTS. Rear-wheel steering is standard on the Targa, but optional for the Coupe and Cabriolet. Additionally, buyers seeking ultimate braking or a more aggressive stance can opt for Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) or the sport suspension, which lowers the car by 10mm.
