Porsche is set to unveil the Cayenne Electric SUV today, marking a major step in its electric vehicle expansion strategy. The global digital reveal will take place at 15:00 CET (7:00 PM IST) on 19 November 2025. Positioned as the flagship electric model above the Macan Electric, the Cayenne Electric will carry the prestigious Cayenne name forward in the EV segment while Porsche continues to sell combustion-engine Cayenne variants to cater to different customer needs and markets.
This new electric SUV will showcase Porsche’s commitment to electric mobility and innovation. Following the online reveal, the Cayenne Electric will be displayed publicly for the first time at the Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai from 22 to 23 November, offering enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the vehicle in person for the first time.

The Cayenne Electric will be offered in two body styles: a standard SUV and a coupe version, both built on Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. This platform underpins the latest Porsche electric systems and is designed to optimise efficiency, range, and performance targets. The SUV retains the general shape of the ICE Cayenne but features an extended length and wheelbase to provide additional cabin and boot space. The model includes standard air suspension and optional rear-axle steering for enhanced handling in both urban and high-speed conditions.
Inside, the Cayenne Electric comes with a redesigned cabin featuring new digital systems and displays. Electrically adjustable rear seats and ambient lighting linked to climate, sound, and seating functions will be standard. The dashboard hosts a 14.25-inch curved OLED instrument cluster, a 12.25-inch central touchscreen, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display. The interior design focuses on functionality and comfort with a digital layout that emphasises ease of use.

Porsche will offer both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions of the Cayenne Electric. The top-spec Turbo model is expected to exceed 1,000bhp, potentially making it Porsche’s most powerful production vehicle to date. A 113kWh battery pack aims to deliver an approximate WLTP range of 600km.
