Porsche has introduced Black Edition variants of the Taycan and Cayenne for the global market. The new editions, as the name implies, stand out with black finishing inside and out, resulting in a more aggressive and sportier appearance. The Taycan Black Edition is offered in both sports saloon and Sport Turismo body styles, while the Cayenne version is available as a traditional SUV or a coupe. Alongside the unique styling, Porsche has equipped both models with a range of premium features such as HD Matrix LED headlights (tinted on the Cayenne), 21-inch wheels with Porsche’s full-colour crest, front comfort Seats with 14-way electric adjustment, and the Porsche crest on the headrests, a Bose Surround Sound System including Dolby Atmos (with Electric Sport Sound in the Taycan).

In its new avatar, the Taycan has the Sport Design kit, window frames, and rear badge finished in shiny black. The side mirrors are also finished in high-gloss black. At the rear, there’s a light strip with an illuminated black Porsche logo. Inside, the Black Edition adds black interior touches, extra storage space, and stylish door sills made of brushed black aluminium with lighting.

Performance-wise, the Taycan Black Edition comes with the larger Performance Battery Plus instead of the previous 97kWh as standard, a feature that’s usually optional. This 105kWh battery boosts both driving performance and range. For example, the base Taycan Black Edition sports sedan can now travel up to 668 kilometres on a single charge, which is 76 kilometres more than the regular version.

Talking about the Cayenne Black Edition, the model stands out with high-gloss black details, the Sport Design front apron, exterior mirrors, the Porsche logo, and the rear model badge. The interior includes brushed-black aluminium trim. Mechanically, the car is available with the standard, E-Hybrid, or S E-Hybrid powertrains.

It is imperative to note that these black Porsches aren't restricted to black colour. Buyers can select from a variety of standard and premium exterior colours. Both models also come with other customisation options to suit the specific needs of buyers.
