Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs 5.15 Lakh

The popular Kwid hatchback has completed 10 years in the Indian market, and to celebrate this milestone, Renault has launched a special 10th Anniversary Edition. Limited to just 500 units, this exclusive edition is priced at Rs 5.15 lakh for the manual transmission and Rs 5.64 lakh for the AMT variant, ex-showroom across India. Alongside the launch of the anniversary edition, Renault has rebranded the Kwid’s variants as Evolution (formerly RXL), Techno (formerly RXT), and Climber. The starting price for the Kwid is now Rs 4.29 lakh, while the AMT versions are priced from Rs 4.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Here’s a rundown of all the recent updates for the Kwid.

The 10th Anniversary Edition, based on the Techno variant, stands out with exclusive styling cues inside and out. It is available in Fiery Red and new Shadow Grey colour options, both featuring a contrasting black roof for a dual-tone effect. These are complemented by glossy black Flex Wheels and special anniversary decals on the doors and C-pillar. The special edition also comes with a yellow grille insert that adds to its distinctive character.

Inside, the cabin honours the milestone with custom-designed seats highlighted by yellow accents, a leatherette steering wheel detailed with mustard-colored stitching, and matching highlights on the infotainment surround and door trims. Other prominent details include illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps.

Other Renault Kwid Updates

For the regular Kwid, Renault has upgraded safety by equipping all seats with 3-point seatbelts, while the Climber variant now comes with six airbags.

The Kwid continues to be propelled by a 1.0-litre SCe petrol engine that produces 69bhp and 92.5Nm. This unit can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or Easy-R AMT transmission.
