Renault Cars Now More Affordable by Up to Rs 96,395 After GST Cut: Full Price List Inside

The upcoming festive season will be more exciting for car buyers in India, as the Government has introduced a new GST regime that lowers taxes across segments. While small cars now attract a flat 18% GST, down from the earlier 28% plus cess. Meanwhile, mid-size cars, large cars, and SUVs, which were previously taxed at 28% GST plus up to 22% cess, now fall under a simplified 40% GST rate with no additional cess. Do note that the benefits vary based on specific criteria such as vehicle length and engine capacity. Renault, which offers only sub-4 metre models in India, stands to gain significantly from the revised GST structure. The Kiger, Triber, and Kwid will now attract 18% GST instead of 29%, translating to up to 11% in tax savings. Here's a model-wise revised price list, which will become effective from September 22, 2025.
